This is an cosmetic item with .json files and .png textures featuring a custom 3D helm or headpiece. The helm slot acts as a 3D item model for Java Minecraft.
This download contains .json models and .png textures that can be added into a resource pack using CustomModelData (custom model data).
Here is a basic animated texture script you can add to a ".png.mcmeta" file in the same folder as the texture, to make it animate in-game:

It will play the animation at fastest frame possible, and not fade between the frames (if you want fade, set “interpolate” to “true”).
We recommend setting it to "frametime":2 as a standard.
